Google+ Google Optimise AdWords and Get Relevant Leads in Rs 100/Day onwards: Making Optimum Use of Online Advertising

Making Optimum Use of Online Advertising

As a businessman or entrepreneur, you are concerned with growth. And achieving growth is a mean task in these times, where nothing can be taken for granted. Using AdWords or Bing Ads seems simple enough - all you have to do is to choose your budget, create your Ad and the corresponding keywords. But in reality, it can be very difficult for a novice, or even for a seasoned professional. Therefore, it is best to seek help if you need it.

The first thing is to fix is the Bid, also called CPC (Cost Per Click). This is the maximum cost you are willing to pay per click. But how much should you pay? What is the benchmark? The fact is: There is none. Google AdWords operates on a "competitive" bidding system. You have to bid more than the other one to be on top of the first page or first page. And this is what makes bidding a conundrum as you can see below:

First Page Top Position Bid can be as high as $59 per click

For the keyword "Internet Business", the top page bid is $59. So if you pay this money, you can be on the 1st Page Top position, till the time someone else bids higher. And if someone clicks on your Ad, you will have to pay $59.

WHAT DO EXPERTS ADVISE?

We don't fancy ourselves as Experts. Far from it. So whatever we say is from our own experience & the collective wisdom of other people who are in the know.

a) Keywords: Keywords are the key. Let's say you are an online computer vendor & selling the new Dell laptops with i5 processor. Who are your customers? For the most part, it would be people who are interested in buying a Dell Laptop. And that's what you should focus on. Choose keywords like Dell Laptops, Dell Laptops reviews, etc.

But suppose you are a laptop seller who stocks all brands. Now, it would be a better idea to broadbase your keywords. Look at it from the customer's perspective. He is most probably looking to compare various Brands, check out prices & then buy. So your keywords need to reflect that.

b) Ads: Now that's one element that can be neglected very easily. However, a finely crafted ad that matches your key keywords is your most powerful asset. Remember, it's the Ad that your prospective customers click on. A powerful Ad would be clicked even if it is placed low in the rankings.

c) Quality Score: Quality Score is given to each of the keywords you choose. A high Quality Score means your Ad matter has been deemed worthy of that keyword. It's a great way to check how good your Ads are. A high Quality Score lowers your Cost Per Click & most often, puts your Ad in a good position.

WHAT ABOUT US?

We are no Specialists, just Enthusiasts.

The first thing we do is a Quick Audit of your Online Advertising Programme & evaluate it from the perspective of your objectives, conversion goals, past history, budget & of course ROI. In most cases, it could be just a tweak that's required, maybe keywords, or your Ads or something.

Then, we discuss & review your Goals. Remember, you are running a business. It's all too simple to get caught in the business of "clicks", but remember, it's not clicks but conversion we should be talking about. If you pay $10 to get a lead, but make $50 from that customer, is that a bad option?

Therefore, it is our duty to tell you that do not get caught up in the business of costs & clicks. Ultimately, AdWords or any other online advertising programme is a tool for promotion & visibility. At all times, focus on ROI.

This can only be done by paying constant attention to your account. If you don't have the time, hire someone who will.

The other specialty that we have is the good old customer service. Let the image speak for itself.
